By participating in YOU THE DADDY’s Father’s Day Giveaway (the “Promotion”), you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements in these Official Rules. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified.
- To enter, each person (an “Entrant”) must follow the entry conditions set out in the official competition blog post on www.youthedaddy.co.uk.
- Submission Period. 09:00am (9am) BST Friday 6 May 2016 to 11:59am BST Thursday 26 May 2016.
- Prize Winner Selection. After the Submission Period, one (1) Entrant will be randomly drawn by YOU THE DADDY as the Winner. The Winner will be chosen only from entries made during the Promotion. The Winner will be notified via email or their chosen social media account by 6pm BST on Thursday 26 May 2016.
- There will be one (1) unique Winner in total.
- Prize. The Winner will receive the six (6) items listed in the original blog post.
- All prizes will be posted to the Winner directly from YOU THE DADDY.
- No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
THE PROMOTION IS OPEN TO PERSONS LIVING IN THE UK AND MAINLAND IRELAND, WHO ARE OVER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18). YOU THE DADDY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT AWARD THE PRIZE TO ENTRANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
Directors, officers and employees of YOU THE DADDY, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WordPress, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each, are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable country and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
ALL FEDERAL, COUNTRY AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within thirty (30) days of notification will be forfeited. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Actual model, colour, or features of each prize awarded may vary from photos used in print and in advertising.
YOU THE DADDY will attempt to contact the Winner via email, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the account name provided at time of entry. If the Winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of being contacted, the Winner forfeits all rights to the prize. The Winner must meet the eligibility requirements for the Promotion as described above. YOU THE DADDY will determine whether the Winner who has responded within the time allowed meets those requirements. If the Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements for the Promotion will be disqualified. All decisions of YOU THE DADDY regarding this Promotion are final and binding in all respects. To claim a prize, Winners must follow the instructions above.
General Release. By entering the Promotion, you release YOU THE DADDY, Zazzle UK, The London Sock Exchange, Go Outside The Lines, The Gray Store, Baacco.com and The English Provender Company, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
Use of Name, Likeness, etc. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Promotion constitutes permission to each Winner’s name, Twitter/Instagram/Facebook account, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, Winners may be required to execute a consent to the use of their name, Twitter/Instagram/Facebook account, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. Furthermore, the identifications of all Entrants may be disclosed to indicate such Entrant’s participation in the Promotion.
Postal addresses provided by Winners will be used for the sole purpose of sending the prize and will not be stored, processed by YOU THE DADDY or sold to third parties.
Disclaimer. YOU THE DADDY and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees, and agents shall not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; (c) any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond YOU THE DADDY’s control; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and WordPress shall not be responsible in any way for any aspect of the Promotion and shall have no liability with respect to the Promotion.
Platforms. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WordPress or any other third party platform. Please contact YOU THE DADDY with any questions about this Promotion. Please do not direct any communications about this Promotion to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or WordPress or any other third party platform.
Use of Information. You are providing your information to YOU THE DADDY and its affiliated companies. The information you provide will only be used for purposes related to the Promotion.
